The Veronicas sisters Jessica and Lisa Origliasso tell EW why their unreleased song 'Cry' ended up on 'The Suite Life of Zack & Cody' when they guest starred on the TV show in 2007.
"We couldn't think of what to play," Jess Origliasso tells EW of how she and her twin sister Lisa Origliasso performed "Cry" in 2007's "The Suite Life Goes Hollywood."Sydney Bucksbaum is a writer at Entertainment Weekly covering all things pop culture – but TV is her one true love. "Yeah, they play it all the time," Jess adds. "We were babies in that. Our managers were just like, 'Go along to this filming thing.' We didn't know what we were doing." "They didn't have clearing rights for any of the songs on our albums," Jess reveals. "They were like, 'You just have to play something else you've written,' so we ended up playing a song that's not on any of our albums called 'Cry' that we wrote when we were 16, because we couldn't think of what to play. It was the only song that wasn't on our publishing company unpublished.
