Sophia Grace Macy, the oldest daughter of Felicity Huffman, has got an acting gig lined up instead of college plans.
The news was first announced by CBS All Access' executive vice president of original content Julie McNamara at the streaming service's executive session at the Television Critics Association this month."Been wanting to talk about this for a MINUTE!" she wrote, adding she's"so so grateful" to actress Abbie Hern, who will also appear in Macy's episode.
Her score improved to a 1420 as a result of the cheating, up 400 points from when she took the PSAT by herself the previous year.Huffman was sentenced to 14 days in prison, a $30,000 fine, supervised release for one year and 250 hours of community service. According to Huffman, Macy was unaware of her mom's participation in the scheme.
During her sentencing in September, Huffman teared up as she recalled to the judge driving her daughter to the Los Angeles testing center where the cheating occurred and her"eternal shame" for not turning around. She recounted the story of how her daughter found out what she had done."She said, 'I don't know who you are anymore, Mom. Why didn't you believe in me, Mom? Why didn't you think I can do it on my own?' I can only say, 'I'm sorry Sophia.
Last January, Macy talked to Parade about the pressure that came with his oldest daughter applying for college."My daughter Sophia, the oldest, is going to LAHSA . She’s thriving there. … She’s going to go to college," he told the publication. "We’re right now in the thick of college application time, which is so stressful. I am voting that once she gets accepted, she maybe takes a year off .
