Mark Sheehan, guitarist and co-founder of Irish pop rock band The Script, passed away on Saturday, April 15, due to a brief, undisclosed illness. He was 46. Sheehan’s passing was announced by his bandmates Danny O’Donoghue and Glen Power through the band’s social media pages, also on Saturday.“Much loved husband, father, brother, band mate and friend Mark Sheehan passed away today in hospital after a brief illness,” their statement said. “The family and group ask fans to respect their privacy at this tragic time.”
