Did anyone else spot this?
It's no secret that PDAs in the Royal Family are very few and far between, thanks to all that royal protocol. It's understandable then, that when they do share a loved up moment in public, everyone goes a bit wild over it – and it seems even the Queen herself is no exception.. The photos show the Queen opening up some fan mail sent in to celebrate her special milestone, and while the photos are quite lovely, we couldn't help but spot something equally as lovely in the background.
and Prince William pride of place on her console table at Windsor Castle. But, this isn't just any photo, as the pair are enjoying some serious PDA. The loved-up snap, which shows the couple embracing each other in a hug, was taken back in 2010 by Mario Testino as part of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's engagement photoshoot ahead of their 2011 wedding.This isn't the first time eagle eyed fans have spotted a special photo of the couple on display at the Queen's home.
Later, fans noticed another unseen photo of the Queen with her late husband Prince Philip and their great-grandchildren, also on display at her Windsor Castle residence. Taking a closer look at the image in question, we can see the Queen sitting beside Prince Philip, with great-granddaughter Princess Charlotte on her lap and older brother Prince George standing behind them.
At the other end of the sofa, the Duke of Edinburgh sits beside Mike and Zara Tindall's eldest daughter, Mia. Next to Prince Philip stands Peter and Autumn Phillips' eldest daughter, Savannah, while her younger sister Isla sits on the opposite side. Prince Louis, Archie Harrison, Lilibet Diana and Lena Tindall aren't in the image, suggesting that it was taken before 2018.
