I am proud our bill to honor these remarkable women has passed Congress. These pioneers remain a beacon for Black women across the country, both young and old,” Harris said.
Last week, our bill recognizing NASA’s ‘Hidden Figures’ with a Congressional Gold Medal was formally signed. Katherine Johnson, Dr. Christine Darden, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson made monumental contributions to our nation. I'm thrilled they've received this recognition.
