Panem is heading to London next year for the first-ever stage adaptation of The Hunger Games. The play will open in the Fall of 2024.
“I’m very excited to be collaborating with the amazing team of Conor McPherson and Matthew Dunster as they bring their dynamic and innovative interpretation of ‘The Hunger Games’ to the London stage,” Collins said in a press release.
The creative team behind The Hunger Games stage adaptation includes set designer Miriam Buether, costume designer Moi Train, choreographer Charlotte Broom, lighting designer Lucy Carter, sound designer Ian Dickinson for Autograph, video designer Tal Rosner, fight director Kev McCurdy, casting director Amy Ball, production manager Gary Beestone, and performer flying by John Maddox for Suspended Illusions.
The Hunger Games producers include Tristan Baker & Charlie Parsons for Runaway Entertainment, Oliver Royds for BOS Productions, and Isobel David by arrangement with“In a dystopian future, The Hunger Games ignite a thrilling battle for survival, where 24 young tributes are pitted against each other in a deadly arena,” the official press release reads.
Collins’ books were adapted for the screen by Lionsgate. The first film in The Hunger Games franchise premiered in 2012 withDan Girolamo is a multifaceted content creator with nearly a decade of experience in pop culture, sports, and entertainment.
