'The Glory' Star JungSungIl And JoYeoJeong To Star In New Thriller
On July 14, the producers of the upcoming film “Interview” officially announced that the two actors had been confirmed for the leading roles.
“Interview” is a thriller about a desperate reporter who asks a serial killer responsible for 11 murders to participate in a special interview. Jo Yeo Jeong of “Parasite” will be starring as Sun Joo, an ice-cold veteran reporter desperate for a scoop, while Jung Sung Il of “The Glory” will be playing Young Hoon, a genius killer clever enough to conceal his many crimes.
Jo Yeo Jeong remarked, “‘Interview’ has a charming script with a tightly-plotted story within the interview between a reporter and a serial killer. I will do my utmost to try to convey the suspense and cinematic thrills I felt while reading the script on screen as well.” Meanwhile, Jung Sung Il shared, “After reading the last page of the script, it didn’t even take me one second to decide that I had to do this film. I’m preparing to do my best and pour everything I’ve got into this movie in order to not become a burden to everyone working on it, so please look forward [to my performance]. Please give the film lots of interest and support.”
