Things are getting ready to come to a close in The Flash season 8 as there are only two episodes left to air. One of the remaining unsolved storylines that the show has left is Iris West-Allen's time-sickness.
In The Flash season 8, episode 18,"The Man in the Yellow Tie," Barry Allen focused heavily on training the show's new speedster, Meena Dhawan, better known to DC fans as Fast Track. While the episode included Matt Letscher's Reverse-Flash, Eobard Thawne's return came with a twist. Even though he is the original Thawne, this Eobard has no memories of being an evil speedster, nor of his rivalry with The Flash.
While it has been confirmed that The Flash season 8 finale will cure Iris' time-sickness, there is still so much that is unknown about this. Given how long The Flash has had Iris' time-sickness as a storyline, it will be intriguing to see how they explain the origin of her condition, including why she got it. Even though they're setting up a big two-part finale, the wait for The Flash season 9 is going to be quite extensive.
