The Flash lays the groundwork for the DC Universe's multiverse. Despite the divisive response to the film, not to mention the controversy surrounding Miller, there is already a script for a sequel. The only question now is whether Warner Bros. will move forward with it, especially given the poor box office showing of the movie.
