Less than an hour after Chris Stapleton's July performance at Ruoff Music Center ended,I had never seen or heard that man before in my life. Yet, an editor speculating on who would make this list referred to him as something like"your country guy." And you know what? That's exactly who he is.
. Performing in Indiana for the first time ever, the world-famous tenor delivered on his hits, including a deeply moving"Time to Say Goodbye" with soprano Larisa Martinez. Elevating the concert even more were small moments, such as when he surprised us with a dramatically quiet final note on"White Christmas."
