The latest update on the project came on March 27, 2023, when it was confirmed that Disney’s next live-action remake after those currently scheduled for release, such as Snow White, would be The Aristocats, and that Questlove had been attached to direct. The WGA strike ended on September 27, so it’s possible that Will Gluck and Keith Bunin have resumed work on the script of The Aristocats live-action version and that more news will come from Disney soon.
Disney’s Live-Action Aristocats Cast There have been no announcements yet for the cast of Disney’s live-action The Aristocats remake. The animated classic Aristocats had many memorable characters such as Turkish Angora cat Duchess , ginger alleycat J. Thomas O’Malley , and Duchess’s three kittens Toulouse, Maries, and Berlioz . Legendary Jazz musician Scatman Crothers also appeared as the musical alley cat Scat Cat.
Live-Action Artistocats Story: How Will The Remake Be Different? There haven’t been any details revealed about the story of the live-action The Aristocats remake yet. While it will be an adaptation of the original 1970 animated movie it’s also all-but-guaranteed to make some changes.
