The 'American Horror Story: 1984' Title Sequence Was Just Released, And It's A Blood-Soaked '80s Fever Dream
With shots of cassette tapes, Ronald Reagan, and — of course — exercise videos, the opening credits are basically like opening up a blood-soaked time capsule from the '80s.And as a graphic design nerd, let me just say — the credits themselves are *chef's kiss* absolutely perfect.
In his Instagram post, Murphy also shared that the concept for the title sequence was inspired by an"original 'fan' cut...posted on Twitter." In fact, Murphy liked it so much that he brought the fan, whose name is Corey Vega, on board to"[evolve] the concept into something major."
