The most prominent members of the Green Lantern Corps may be its Earth-based officers, but there are thousands of alien beings that make up the illustrious organization. Heroes like Hal Jordan or John Stewart may get the spotlight, but there would be no Corps without the extremely diverse make-up of the interstellar peacekeeping force.
9 Ch'p Speaking of animal-like members of the Corps, many fans of the Green Lantern franchise are likely to recognize Ch’p. Ch’p hails from the planet H’lven, a world whose residents all resemble anthropomorphic squirrels. Despite his cute appearance, Ch’p was an intensely fierce character who earned a spot in the Corps for his tremendous bravery leading a rebellion against an invading alien army. However, Ch’p’s life went on a downward swing in the tail end of his career as a Lantern.
6 Driq The Green Lantern Power Ring is capable of many fantastic things, including overcoming death. The Green Lantern Corps’ Driq found that out the hard way when he was killed In action fighting against Sinestro. However, Driq’s ring prevented him from dying, allowing him and his brilliant tactical mind to continue serving the Corps. Unfortunately, this ceased when the Central Power Battery was destroyed, severing the power to Driq’s ring and allowing him to finally pass on.
3 The Collective They might not seem like the most intimidating force, but don’t be fooled by their appearance. The Collective is a member of the Green Lantern Corps who was discovered when a Lantern went out to recruit a new member for a Lantern-less sector only to find tiny puffballs. The Lantern realized that each puffball contained a fraction of the sentience and willpower necessary to operate a ring.
