Thales SA (HO.FR) said Tuesday that first-quarter sales fell slightly due to a slowdown in the commercial space market but confirmed its outlook for the year. Quarterly sales at the French aerospace-and-defense company were 3.36 billion euros ($3.75 billion), down 1.5% on a reported basis from EUR3.41 billion in the same period a year earlier and falling short analysts' expectations of EUR3.44 billion, according to FactSet.
