Because there is an incredibly sad and horrifying case out of Texas in which doctors say a flea bite has ravaged a man’s body across the past month.35-year-old Michael Kohlhof first went to the hospital with what he believed to be the flu, but his body became septic and he was quickly admitted to the intensive care unit.
For the next 24 hours doctors reportedly worked to figure out just what was wrong with him as they had to place him on a ventilator and on dialysis while giving him antibiotics. And his family was reportedly told on June 20 that he would not make it.
