Heidi Sloan said she was assaulted by a fringe group using 'violence and intimidation' to suppress democracy.
On 1/15/20 at 4:43 AM ESTA Texas congressional candidate said she has been attacked with paint and eggs by a group she described as a"radical cult" attempting to suppress voter turnout in an upcoming election.
Sloan said members of RGA"ambushed" her on the street and physically prevented her from getting into her vehicle to leave. The protesters then allegedly smashed eggs filled with red paint on Sloan's head during the confrontation.A video of the incident was posted online by a group called Incendiary News Service, who are believed to be linked to RGA.
It is unclear if Sloan reported the incident to the police. Sloan's office has been contacted for further comment.
