, which should finally deliver on the 200-mph top speed that company initially claimed for the high-performance EV.
The new package includes the already-available Carbon Ceramic Brake Kit, unique wheels, 285/35R20 front and 305/30R20 rear Goodyear Supercar 3R tires on new"Zero-G" wheels. It also offers the opportunity to raise the speed limiter to 200 mph, although the fine print leaves some wiggle room for Tesla:
"Top speed of 200 mph achievable with Carbon Ceramic Brake Kit and proper wheels and tires fitted for those speeds," the site reads. We assume the Zero-G wheels with Goodyear tires are the proper wheels and tires, but"achievable" and available to the customer are different metrics. Because Tesla has a habit of delaying promised product features due to fine-print hang-ups, we aren't counting chickens.
