Young industry workers and graduates of technical vocational schools and training centers are set to compete in the weeklong 2023 Philippine National Skills Competition starting Monday. | janebautistaINQ /PDI
The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority said winners of the competition would represent the country in the upcoming 2023 Asean Skills Competition in Singapore.The PNSC is in line with Republic Act No. 7796 mandating the agency to organize annual skills olympics with the help of private industries to promote quality skills development in the country in preparation for the international skills competition.
More than 150 competitors nationwide will compete in 18 different skill areas including 3D digital game art, automobile technology, beauty therapy, cooking, electrical installations, electronics, fashion technology and graphic design technology.
