Here are 10 reasons why risk management increases risk:
. They may have small Agile projects in the IT department. But most have yet to undertake the management transformation to embrace business agility as a way of life for the whole organization. As a result, they face an existential threat. By systematically shifting the firm’s attention away from this threat, risk management itself increases, rather than reduces, business risk.and that the risk of future investments can be accurately evaluated by a central risk management staff.
As explained below in Figure 1, a complex system can only be understood by continuous interaction, experimentation and adjustment as more information is gathered. By overvaluing the capability of a central staff and undervaluing the learning that will occur from working level staff interacting with the environment at the periphery, risk management further clouds the assessment of real risk.
