AKRON, Ohio — Two teen males ended up in the hospital with gunshot wounds after they exchanged fire in the Middlebury neighborhood, police say.
Officers were called to the area of Hart and Factory streets just before 7 p.m. Monday, where they found a 19-year-old with a wound to his chest. The second male, 17, was found nearby at Duane Avenue and Lucy Street with a gunshot wound to his leg, police say. Officers gave medical help to the males, who were then taken to Summa Health Akron City Hospital. Their wounds are not considered life-threatening, according to police.
