Police in Toledo say the 16-year-old male pointed a firearm at officers before he was shot and killed.
TOLEDO, Ohio — A teen male fleeing from police after he was involved in the robbery of a Dollar General store was shot and killed after he pointed a firearm at officers, police say.the 16-year-old suspect was being chased on foot by officers but refused to obey commands to drop a firearm. Police say the male then pointed the gun at his own head, but then pointed at the officers. Police then shot the teen multiple times, reports say.
Officers arrived as the two teens ran from the store and began chasing the suspects, reports say. One of the suspects fired a shot at officers during the chase, police tell WTOL.
