An eighteen-year-old singer-songwriter should not be rushing to get things done. For one, he has all the time to spare in producing a composition, especially if it is one that will introduce what he has to offer as a recording artist.
18-year old singer-songwriter Yhuan signs under Widescope Entertainment which dropped his debut single ‘Gold’ on digital stores today, Feb. 24.
Thus, his debut single “Gold” only needed two days from the time of its birth up to the final product. “I started piecing together a story about someone feeling down but then thrilled when he suddenly saw this person who ended up giving him great luck,” expressed the young fellow from the province of Bulacan about the song he wrote, recorded, and mixed in a total of just 48 hours.
The track’s groovy, swingy feel with a touch of hip hop is delivered through the chorus words, “Who on Earth gives a damn about gold?/ Oh if love’s much brighter than diamond and it never gets old/ Girl you’re worth everything that I own/ I don’t mind it if I bet it all and lose/Baby-faced Yhuan pointed out that the persons in the song “realized that even if they lose it all, they enjoying the company of each other more than anything,” more than gold.
