A teenager has been arrested in a last week's shooting at Morgan State University that left five people wounded during homecoming celebrations. Baltimore police announced the 17-year-old's arrest Friday morning but didn't identify him because he’s a minor. Authorities have an arrest warrant for a second suspect, 18-year-old Javon Williams.

Multiple people were wounded, none critically, in a shooting that interrupted a homecoming week celebration at the university in Baltimore on Tuesday and prompted an hourslong lockdown of the historically Black college.
“Neither are Morgan students nor have a connection to this university,” school officials said in a statement Friday. The Maryland Office of the Public Defender didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment Friday morning about whether they’re representing the teen.
