Group has opened a technology office in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where it plans to hire 200 software engineers, developers and architects as part of a wider effort to hire 2,000 technology workers across the company in 2022.
The bank is working with Nova Southeastern University’s Alan B. Levan NSU Broward Center of Innovation, a public-private partnership between NSU and Broward County, to build its network and find talent, said Teresa Grandal, assistant executive director of operations at the Levan Center. TD rented office space at the center for use by technology hub employees, the bank said.
“It’s the way you’re seeing software developed for the new technology delivery platforms that you’re seeing in fintech,” Mr. Keeley said.to make more than 2,000 technology hires in 2022 as part of its goal to accelerate the delivery of digital products, hiring for skills that include cloud technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and data.
