A wide receiver for the NFL's Houston Texans was injured in an overnight shooting in Florida, according to a statement from his team. Tank Dell, 24, suffered a 'minor wound,' was treated at a hospital and has been released, the Texans said Sunday. The team said the violence took place in Sanford, Florida, about 40 miles south of Dell's hometown of Daytona Beach.
City of Seminole police spokesperson Bianca Gillett said there were no shootings reported there overnight. A 16-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the Cabana Live attack, the sheriff's office said. The violence started with an argument, it said, before shots rang out. A security guard working at the venue quickly apprehended a suspect, the office said, and turned him over to two deputies who rushed to the scene. The venue said the violence took place during a private event.
