Exclusive: Andor star Kyle Soller teases what is next for Syril Karn in season 2 and what his relationship with Dedra Meero means for the StarWars villains:
Kyle Soller, who plays Syril Karn in Andor, teased what is to come for the character and what the chances are of a team-up between him and Dedra Meero in Andor season 2. While Star Wars has had dozens of non-Force sensitive human villains who are as threatening as Sith Lords, Andor’s antagonists brought something even more unique to the franchise.
Season 2? I mean, it pops off in season 2. They've turned it up to [11]. What can I say? Where you leave Syril in season 1 is with Dedra in the middle of the riot. There's so much potential from that moment. They both want the same; they both want Cassian, and they both realize that they can be stronger together. There can be some union involved here, but they don't know what that is.
Soller mentions how there is a lot of potential regarding a Syril and Dedra team-up building up from Andor season 1’s finale, which saw Karn saving Dedra’s life during the Ferrix riots. The actor also notes how Sryill and Dedra want the same thing, Cassian Andor, and that they could be stronger together.
