Two suspects were apprehended after leading police on a car chase through Salt Lake County.
Officers responded to what they were told was a domestic incident in Midvale Wednesday evening, officials said. When officers arrived, officials said they found that the situation was an aggravated robbery .One dead, five hospitalized after carbon monoxide exposure inside Vineyard home
Officers located a vehicle involved in the situation somehow and began a pursuit, which was called off multiple times because the suspect kept driving into oncoming traffic, officials said. The vehicle went eastbound in the westbound lanes on I-215, officials said. The Department of Public Safety's helicopter followed the car when police were unable to follow on the road, officials said.
Eventually, police found the car in Millcreek, starting another pursuit that ended with police successfully spiking the car and stopping it onPolice peacefully arrested the passenger of the car while the driver ran and was later located and arrested, officials said. A minor crash near 7200 south and 300 west occurred when the suspect tried to veer away from the pursuit, officials said.___
