HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — KHOU 11 obtained new surveillance video of a drive-by shooting that theThe shooting happened at a convenience store on Thursday night alongDrive. It’s one of several deadly shootings in that area this year alone.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the victim, identified by deputies as 69-year-old Ernest Brooks, was not the intended target. On October 3, a man was killed in a drive-by shooting at another gas station across the street. The gas station is where the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said two men were killed after an ambush-style attack in January involving three men with assault rifles.
