The Local Chief Executive of the Municipality of Del Carmen, Alfredo Coro, delivered his State of the Municipality Address in celebration of the 103rd Adlaw nan Del Carmen last Oct. 20, 2023, at the Del Carmen Convention Center, attended and witnessed by the Assistant Secretary for International Relations of the Department of Interior and Local Government , ASec. Lilian Manalese De Leon.
Mayor Coro successfully showed and presented the transformation stories of Del Carmen under his leadership and administration with the collaboration and cooperation of all his people and partners in development, exerting efforts and initiatives that are committed to delivering public service for the people needed by the people and sustained by the people.
In the meantime, Del Carmen is very grateful to Asec. De Leon of DILG for her perspective on governance as she continues to reinforce her unwavering commitment to assisting LGUs in achieving lasting progress. Further, the joint venture partner of LGU Del Carmen, JCA 1221 Holdings Inc., as the public-private partnership modality of the First Siargao Septage Management Program in the Caraga Region in addressing Island wastes towards circular economy and sustainable development that produces recycled water, turned over the cheque of the first remittance to LGU-Del Carmen amounting to Pph152,152.00 received by the Municipal Treasurer, Municipal Accountant and the Budget Officer.
