The Supreme Court has declared tomorrow (Tuesday, 9/4/2024) as the last day of Ramadan and Wednesday as the first day of Eid al-Fitr, according to the official statement of the Saudi Press Agency on X's social media account. The people in Saudi Arabia are expected to celebrate Eid al-Fitr for four days. This year's Ramadan was overshadowed by the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza, which killed at least 33,207 people, mostly women and children, according to the health ministry in the Hamas-controlled region. Hamas also held more than 250 Israeli and foreign hostages, 129 of whom are still in Gaza, including 34 reported dead hostages. Mediators have been pushing for a ceasefire before the start of Ramadan, but to no avail.
“Mahkamah Agung menetapkan besok hari terakhir #Ramadhan dan Rabu sebagai hari pertama #Idul Fitri,” demikian pernyataan resmi kantor berita Saudi Press Agency di akun media sosial X.Adapun warga di Arab Saudi diperkirakan akan merayakan Idul Fitri selama empat hari.

PGN Subholding Gas Pertamina Deploys Task Force for Gas Supply during Eid al-Fitr 2024PT PGN Tbk, as a Subholding Gas Pertamina, has deployed the Ramadhan and Eid al-Fitr 2024 Task Force (Satgas RAFI 2024) to ensure the reliability of natural gas supply during the Eid al-Fitr holiday in 2024.
