Bacolod police officers and other uniformed service units, and emergency response teams, totaling 613, had been deployed to secure the festival sites.The festival opening will be followed by beer tasting and pairing of chef’s inasal versions at North Capitol Road and Capitol Lagoon Park at 6 p.m. on Friday.
At 4 p.m. on Saturday, the Barangay Inasal Cook-Off will be held at the Manokan Country and SM City Bacolod, followed by the Chicken Inasal Awards at the SM Atrium at 5 p.m. and a live cooking demonstration by celebrity chef Jose Sarasola at the Ayala Malls Capitol Central.There will also be a food fest and nightly entertainment at the three festival sites – North Capitol Road, The Upper East and the Manokan Country.
