Saturday Night Live's Beck Bennett joins the cast of James Gunn's Superman movie, which will be released in 2025.
, Bennett has been cast as a “notable reporter” at the Daily Planet in Gunn’s Superman, which releases in theaters next year.
Bennett joined the cast of Saturday Night Live for its 39th season in 2013. He was part of the cast until 2021, leaving the show after eight seasons. He’s also appeared in movies such as 2016’s Zoolander 2, 2017’s Brigsby Bear, 2019’s Greener Grass, 2020’s Bill & Ted Face the Music, and, most recently, 2024’s Unfrosted.
Additionally, he’s voiced characters in animated movies such as 2016’s Sing, 2019’s The Angry Birds Movie 2, 2021’s The Mitchells vs. the Machines, and 2023’s Nimona. He’s also voiced characters in television series such as DuckTales, M.O.D.O.K., Hamster & Gretel, Rick and Morty, and Big Mouth.
