Subaru previewed the Solterra ahead of its arrival at the Los Angeles Auto Show today.
criticized for being straight from the 1990s General Motors playbook. The ruggedized lower bumper plastic blends into the wheel arches but doesn't actually cover the area of the SUV where mud splatter and loose rocks would traditionally hit.
The automaker has shown the first images of the model with it wearing gloss black side mirrors, and a blue paint job. There are what appears to be non-functional matching roof rails. The rear of the model appears to be nearly identical to the BZ4X. Their wheels are different with the Solterra available wearing up to 20-inchers.
Unlike some other electric vehicles, the Solterra comes with a heat pump, which helps the model's range in cold weather situations.
