According to the studies, we have also reinforced our appreciation for family. A strong majority say family is more important now as compared to before the pandemic, and adults between ages 35-54 are most likely to feel this way. In addition, people are grateful: 68% say they feel thankful for their families, relationships and the sacrifices people have made for coronavirus. While some report feeling angry or annoyed , the 68% who feel grateful outpace those who feel more negatively.

The importance of mental health also seems to be paying off in terms of mental and emotional resilience with 32% of people saying they are mentally and emotionally stronger than they thought and 33% saying they have become more self-sufficient and independent since the start of the pandemic.
