A student was stabbed during a fight at an Ocean County high school Friday morning, police said.
A group of students got into a fight in a restroom at Barnegat High School and the student was wounded with injuries not considered life threatening, according to a report from the Barnegat Police Department.An “edged weapon” was recovered and investigators were on the scene recovering evidence, officials said.“The shelter in place was lifted when officers and command staff determined and were confident that there was no threat to student safety,” Barnegat Police said.
