Storms possible Monday night
AUSTIN, Texas — Today, we're tracking a system that could be bringing in a few showers and storms, some of which could be on the stronger side to start the upcoming work week. Here's the latest.We're tracking this system in two separate rounds, with the first expected to take place Monday evening and the second round taking place Tuesday morning.
The system passing through us is on the butt end of a long reaching cold front as part of an upper level low spinning in the Intermountain West.As we've mentioned before, this system looks to be coming in two rounds. The first of these rounds would be from 7-10 p.m. Monday night, with this system only producing scattered showers in the Hill Country according to our latest model runs. Steadier rain is predicted in the Coastal Plains by approximately 8-9 p.m.
