A family in Brick, N.J., is afraid to venture into their backyard due to getting shocked by mysterious stray voltage.
how the Volks of Brick were very excited at the prospect of swimming in their newly installed above-ground pool this summer. Unfortunately, those dreams of taking a dip were marred by the fact that they began to experience electrical shocks as they ventured into their backyard.
“My wife, my mother-in-law, and my daughter in the pool, and my wife went to go cleaner out the skimmer basket,” tells James Volk to the news station. “When she stuck her hand in, she got shocked so bad that she felt it down to her feet, like tingling, numbness.” that they family and their visitors have even learned to tread lightly in the grass as some have experienced these shocks“It’s a scary thing,” continues James. “I’ve got a 2-year-old, she’s my first child. I’ve got my wife here. I’ve got my mother-in-law here. We’re scared to come out of the house and even walk in our lawn.”
