More than 5,500 CPS Energy customers in San Antonio were without power Sunday morning, though most had it restored by the afternoon.
Most of the thousands of Bexar County residents who lost power Sunday morning have had their electricity restored, CPS Energy reports. There were still 672 customers without power as of 11:15 Sunday afternoon, according to CPS Energy’s outage map. The company reported 26 active outages across the county.

The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement Sunday morning warning of 60 mph winds and half-inch hail as part of a strong thunderstorm that moved through San Antonio and south central Bexar County. The severe thunderstorm warning expired around noon, but the agency said the storm may intensify or redevelop throughout the day.
