Stocks barely closed positive today, with the Dow and S&P 500 both up just 0.01%. The Nasdaq had a record close, though it only rose 17.56 points.
Wall Street posted solid weekly gains. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq were up 0.7% and 0.9%, respectively while the Dow gained 0.4% this week.
President Donald Trump later confirmed that a trade deal had been reached. As part of that agreement, new tariffs set to take effect Sunday will be scrapped. He also said some of the prior. He also noted the White House will keep a 25% levy on $250 billion in place.
