United Kingdom (UK) Ambassador to the Philippines Laure Beaufils tipped her hat to rock legend Sting after his concert held in Manila Saturday night, March 18.
Beaufils was oozing with pride for his fellow British’s concert performance at the Theater at Solaire.
“Hello @Sting! Thank you for this evening of iconic music in our beloved #Manila,” she said in a Twitter post.Beaufils also posted a video of Sting, accompanied with hashtags #MusicIsGreat and #Friendship. Her upload came with a greeting for Solaire Resort which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
Sting, whose real name is Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, staged a two-night concert in the Philippines from March 17-18. The 17-time Grammy winner last performed in the country back in 2012 as part of his Back to Bass world tour. He was supposed to hold a concert in Manila three years ago but it was canceled.related stories
