Steve sadly passed away in 2006 when he was pierced in the chest by a short-tail stingray. He'd been filming a documentary in Australia's Great Barrier Reef.Steve's son Robert, now 18, has followed in his father's footsteps.
He works at the Australia Zoo and stars in a reality show on Animal Planet calledRobert recently survived a close encounter when he was chased by a 12-foot crocodile named Casper while filming the season finale of his show.
