Stephen Amell & Alexander Ludwig discussed what's next for Jack and Ace Spade in Heels season 2 and tease the fate of the DWL in a roundtable interview:

Stephen Amell & Alexander Lugwig Talk Heels Season 2 Stephen, you have wrestled in the past. Did the second season inspire you to maybe get back into the ring again? Would you entertain that possibility? Alexander Ludwig: I think it becomes blatantly apparent, especially in the second season that she's just so good. The women have taken charge, and they're undeniably as talented as the men are. And I love that whole storyline because to me, seeing that in the backdrop that we've created is, I think, really, really exciting. For Ace, that was the nail in his coffin in terms of who he thought he was supposed to be. And now this journey for him is who he's actually destined to be.
Alexander, your character undergoes a very drastic kind of transformation. Was that inspired by some characters in wrestling? Because as a wrestling fan, I know that Sting underwent a very similar kind of transformation. Was that the inspiration for this character? Alexander Ludwig: Without giving too much away, you really get to experience what they experienced. And I think it kind of shines a new light into who they both are as human beings. You don't excuse their behavior, but you understand it. And what I've always loved about Ace is that at first glance, it's very easy to judge somebody.
