Curry and Green were both grimacing in pain during the first half of Game 5.
Curry had his ankle wrapped on the bench in the second quarter after rolling it while defending Mavericks star Luke Dončić during the first quarter. He continued to stretch it out and returned to action with 5:40 left in the second quarter.
Green, meanwhile, grimaced in pain at the free throw line after being fouled while going up for a layup early in the second quarter. The Warriors’ forward bent his right hand backward and forward in between free throw attempts and was visibly shaken after landing hard on his wrist following a foul on a shot attempt. TNT’s cameras showed Green holding a heating pad over the hand/wrist.
The Warriors haven’t made an official announcement that either player is dealing with an injury and both were able to continue playing despite the pain.
