Shootings occurred during a party, according to state police
State police, local police, and EMS were called to the Chevy Chase Community Center in White Township, just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday.On arrival, emergency responders rendered aid to several people who had been shot. According to state police, at least six people were shot. One of them died at the scene.
They say the victims were taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center and UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, where two are believed to be in serious condition.The shooting was reported to have occurred during a private party, according to state police.At this time, the shootings are under investigation and no suspects are in custody.Troopers urge anyone with information to immediately contact Troop A, Indiana at 724-357-1960.
