Star Wars gives bounty hunting more structure.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Summary Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 3, episode 10 just provided a tier system for bounty hunters that extends to the likes of Boba Fett and The Mandalorian's Din Djarin. After Asajj Ventress' Star Wars return in The Bad Batch season 3, episode 9, the titular team of clones became more familiar with the term M-count.

In Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 3, episode 10, the Empire receives a tip about a child with a high M-count. The man who provided the tip makes a call, stating that he has a job for a "class one" bounty hunter to tackle. This bounty hunter turns out to be none other than Cad Bane, who infiltrates the planet and takes the Force-sensitive child from its mother.

With the added element of class one bounty hunters in Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 3, episode 10, it stands to reason that Boba Fett is classed as such from an Imperial perspective.
