\nFollowing on the heels of Paramount+'s Star Trek: Picard ending its run after three seasons, the streaming service confirmed that Star Trek: Discovery will end in early 2024 with its upcoming fifth season. Based on the official description released, 'the fifth and final season will find Captain Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S.
\nThe cast for the fifth season includes Sonequa Martin-Green , Doug Jones , Anthony Rapp , Mary Wiseman , Wilson Cruz , David Ajala , Blu del Barrio and Callum Keith Rennie . Paramount+'s Star Trek: Discovery is produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman, Michelle Paradise, Heather Kadin, Aaron Baiers, Olatunde Osunsanmi, Frank Siracusa, John Weber, Rod Roddenberry, and Trevor Roth serve as executive producers.
