In his new role at Spotify's New York City headquarters, Farrelly will lead the creative vision for artist and music marketing, while developing campaigns, activations and original IP. Farrelly joins Spotify with more than 15 years of experience in advertising and entertainment. Over nearly three years at VICE Media, he helped launch and grow the company's standalone creative agency Virtue in Brooklyn, serving most recently as chief creative officer of the agency.
Prior to that, Farrelly served as executive creative director at Universal Music Group, where he similarly established the label's first in-house creative lab in Sydney, Australia.Brian Benedik
