He emphasized that this was the lowest rate over the last 13 months, from 8.6 percent in February, 7.6 percent in March, 6.6 percent in April, to 6.1 percent in May. Romualdez said that separate PSA data revealed that the unemployment rate continued to decline in April, dropping to 4.5 percent from 5.7 percent in the same month last year and 4.7 percent in March this year.
