SpaceX has received clearance from the FAA for its seventh Starship test flight, moving the company closer to launching the massive rocket. Testing of the booster and spacecraft engines has been completed, and the next step is to stack the vehicles for launch from Starbase in Boca Chica, Texas. While a specific launch date hasn't been announced, reports suggest January 11th. This test will utilize the Block 2 Starship with updated designs and increased propellant capacity. The mission profile resembles previous tests, with a controlled landing in the Indian Ocean planned. SpaceX will also try again to catch the returning Super Heavy booster with giant mechanical arms.
