The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers who use the southbound Interstate 17 frontage road between Glendale Avenue and Van Buren Street in Phoenix to plan for the following daytime restrictions: The southbound I-17 frontage road will be narrowed to two lanes between Thomas and McDowell roads fromThe southbound I-17 frontage road will be narrowed to one lane between Interstate 10 and Van Buren Street frombetween Glendale Avenue and Camelback Road fromLocal access along the frontage road will be maintained by law enforcement officers.
Crews will be doing electrical work as part of the I-17 Van Buren Street to Anthem Way: Intelligent Transportation System Infrastructure Installation project.
